Yin yoga provides opportunities to spend time in places we live in less. During Yin yoga we incorporate more time in the poses lying, kneeling and seated that provide you the opportunity to focus on the different layers of the body with relaxed muscles. Yin yoga targets fascia bands along the side, front and back body, helping nourish the hips, spine, low back, inner and outer legs, shoulders, and chest.
In this class, we apply meditation techniques to cultivate relaxation, awareness and insights to our mind, body and heart.
During the introduction to the class, we learn more about variations of the poses that will target the correct area but honor your individual body type and medical history. The instruction and your props provide support for YOUR body. The poses are practiced on the ground so having adequate props is important.
- No walk-ins. Preregistration is required.
- Participants should be vaccinated for COVID-19.
- If you have been exposed recently to COVID in the last 5 days OR if you are not feeling well or experiencing COVID like symptoms the evening before or morning of the class, we ask you to cancel. Your class pass will be placed back into your account.
