Reiki 1 Training Weekend

Reiki is a beloved, non-invasive, natural healing modality that has been passed down to us from Dr. Usui of Japan from the late 1800s. It is said that Dr. Usui, seeking spiritual enlightenment, went on a journey to fast and turn inward for 21 days, and in coming out of his deep meditative state, rediscovered the ancient healing art of Reiki. Reiki is magic healing, moving from the facilitator's hands to the person, pet, plant, machine (or whatever) wishing for healing. 

Reiki feels amazing, and choosing to become attuned to Reiki energy begins a natural cleansing process in the practitioner's mind, heart and body that allows for spiritual growth at a very deep level. From this growth, and with practice of the Reiki hand sequence on yourself or others (yes, even phone batteries can benefit from Reiki!), powerful, yet gentle healing happens for everyone involved. As you move through your process of growing in Reiki, you'll watch your life change for the better, as well as the lives of those around you. After all, Reiki is the energy of unconditional love. 

This Reiki 1 training weekend will include at least 3 hours of guided meditation to go along with the attunement process, as well as information on the hand positions and how they affect the various parts of the endocrine, nervous system and energetic body systems. You'll learn breath practices to includes your awareness of energy, and learn how to give a Reiki session at the 1st level. A Reiki session includes either no-touch (hovering hands) or light touch, so it is available for all, and very trauma-informed. There are 17 hand positions throughout the body which touch upon and strengthen the nervous system and endocrine systems. Reiki practitioners do not have to have a license to touch, as it is a special energetic process by which we operate, making it a very self-guided modality by which you'll gain energy and awareness of the practice by practicing especially in the first 3 weeks after attunement takes place.
